I think Minnesota is the best fit for him as far as openings go. Being in the B1G, it's not necessarily catastrophic to try to win with defense and power football and be consistently mediocre at QB. Plus they've shown the potential to put winning teams together in the past, and if nothing else, Miles can recruit his ass off. That's really where he should be going

People are seriously sleeping on Les as a recruiter...

That is more than half of a coaches job...

Look at Saban...dude don't do shyt but recruit and stand on the sidelines and look racist...

Although it is rather shocking that outside of Mettenburger LSU QB's have been trash the last decade or so...excluding Matt Maulk

Can't be any worse than the clown we've got patrolling the sideline in Athens. I'd love Les to come here if McGarity manned up & fired Richt

Keep dreamin bruh. :francis:

They just gave Richt that extension up until 2019 too. How much is his buyout?

That's what kills me. I understand LSU thinks its underperforming. But part of the reason they're "underperforming" is because of the levels of talent Miles brings in every year. Most other coaches probably won't even be able to bring the talent in to allow a 3 loss season to be a disappointment.

But being a PSU fan, I get the frustration in bringing in shyt tons of talented recruits but not seeing it translated to on-field strategies that put them in the best position to win. Franklin and his offensive staff have been such shytty game-day coaches. But damn they're bringing in 4 and 5* recruits by the truckload

I think Nebraska should go all out because at one time they used to be on top. So they have a storied history of winning unlike Minnesota. I think the Big10 need the resurgence of Nebraska to bolster the west conference and Les fits perfectly.

i agree
mike riley is horrible fire him
nebraska can affod him as well

Most of that talent is in state talent. It's not much of a stretch to think a new coach can come in and keep the talent in state.

things can change fast, look at usc, once they fell off started losing recruits to ucla and oregon
Yep exactly. Life comes at you REAL FAST in college football when that elite coach is no longer on the sidelines (and in recruits' living rooms).

Just in most of our lifetimes, we've seen all kinds of mini dynasties. Nebraska, Florida, Florida State, Miami, USC, Bama. At the time, it seemed like those teams would NEVER stop winning. But there are always down years, down eras. Especially when the coach that had them there is no longer there. Pete Carroll ain't walking through that door in LA. Tom Osbourne ain't coming back down to the sidelines in Lincoln. The Head Ball Coach/Urban ain't walking back through that door in Gainesville. It just is what it is

Les should go coach in the Big 12, he loves defense and no one in that conference plays any:lolbron:
