Pellini is the guy that I think people should look out for. He's a dark horse candidate imo with him having ties to LSU.
That would be a GREAT hire for any school. He just has that personality that puts a lot of people off but thats what needed as a coach imo.

Yep exactly. Life comes at you REAL FAST in college football when that elite coach is no longer on the sidelines (and in recruits' living rooms).

Just in most of our lifetimes, we've seen all kinds of mini dynasties. Nebraska, Florida, Florida State, Miami, USC, Bama. At the time, it seemed like those teams would NEVER stop winning. But there are always down years, down eras. Especially when the coach that had them there is no longer there. Pete Carroll ain't walking through that door in LA. Tom Osbourne ain't coming back down to the sidelines in Lincoln. The Head Ball Coach/Urban ain't walking back through that door in Gainesville. It just is what it is

was winning like 9-11 games regulary mid nineties up till like 2004, signing studs. Now look, look at arkansas once bobby petrino left. Dark days can come fast.

les recruited great and developed players as well, look at michigan with hoke and michigan with harborough. NEbraska with pellini and nebraska with riley. Florida with muschamp and fla with mcilwane(sp) coaching does matter.

hell your in pitt I think look at the panthers with Pat Narduzzi

Hell yeah to the bolded. And dudes in my other thread about Zeke Elliott trying to say Urban should just take his shyt lying down because Zeke makes the school so much money and is such a great player. Please.. Zeke is replaceable as fukk, Urban is like 3-4 deep with 4* RBs. He's a great player, but lots of teams have talented RBs. OSU and Urban made him a standout sure fire draft pick instead of just another guy.
