Them boosters got that $$$ up ... Like Damn, they can really come up with 20mil for some coaches just to be gone....and then pay the next guy even more.....that's when u step back and say Damn it just football... a childs game ...but when the $$$ flows it flows

I'm on the same page as you breh.

I saw earlier the boosters were willing to pay $15-20 mil to buy him out and his staff I'm like :snoop: I'm a huge football fan myself, but they have all this money just to throw around for nothing more important than a damn football game?

And there's ppl in that same city starving. Ridiculous.

Lol and we know Kiffin snagging one of these jobs too
Kiffin is terrible.

I would be shocked if a program lets him lead their team

The best thing for Kiffen has been Mcelwain success.

Standing next to Saban must give you some coaching superpowers is how these idiot will rationalize it

My question about LSU is... what do LSU fans REALLY think their program is supposed to be? Ya'll NOT Alabama, FSU, Ohio State, USC, Michigan, Notre Dame etc.. ya'll not in that caliber.

LSU is not an elite college football program, or at least they weren't before Nick Saban/Les Miles.

Les has seven 10 win seasons in 11 years.

Prior to him, LSU had six 10 win seasons in the previous 58 YEARS!!!
:lupe: I understand what you're saying, BUT.....

When it comes down to it, Louisiana is arguably the most talent rich state in the country outside of the big 3 states (Texas, California, & Florida) & LSU has NO in-state competition. They should be contenders year-in & year-out.

Saban better watch out

Chip kelly at lsu

IT'S OVER

Why should anyone be scared of Chip Kelly?

I gotta agree with @CrimsonTider on this. The thing I don't like about Oregon's spread option offense is despite the fact all the points & yards they done put up all of these years, they are a finesse rushing offense. While Urban Meyer/Dan Mullen/Tom Herman & Gus Malzahn/Chad Morris's spread option offenses are more physical rushing offenses. We saw it in the national title game earlier this year.

Stanford's defense under David Shaw & Jim Harbaigh has has always given Oregon's offense trouble. Best believe a Nick Saban-coached Bama team will shut down that Chip Kelly offense.

LSU is better off going after Urban Meyer or Gus Malzahn if they want a spread option coach.

Les is old bruh and he doesn't have his mojo anymore. I think he'll be an analyst next year. He's too old to be trying to revive a program from scrap. I know Spurrier did it but I'd be surprised if Les chooses that route. He's older than Saban and people ask Saban when he's goin to retire.
some of these dudes want to die being head football coaches. Idk if les is one of them but if he does go anywhere I think it would be a quicker turnaround then most think. Everyone's shytting on him like he hasn't been competitive in the sec.

nikka LSU been had talent stop stealing nikkas talking points and if you are good in Louisiana chances are you will want to go there so honestly what are you taking about? :mindblown:

Edit: You still made my point you didn't know shyt on this just took it from somewhere else and ran with it like you came up with it. Thanks for proving my point

Evidently you're not old enough to remember the Gerry Dinardo years, and no doubt the 10 years prior to that... :sas1:

here is the thing

They getting this talent yet are not maximizing it.

Well I tell you what... That's a wonderful problem to have, and not only that, its fan perception. LSU has a lot of Defensive talent... and I think they squeeze a lot out of their defensive squads since the offence can become dormant often....

Can't understand how the LSU think they are entitled to ships every year as stated, I mean we do have great talent here, but the staff is C minus at best,

I been said Les is not a great coach, he's a good recruiter or assistant, HC not so much

He's great at running a college football program but not great at coaching football anymore.

But yeah LSU needs to manage its expectations. they should really be searching for better coordinators, not a new coach.
