I would say you have to let him see what he does with this recruiting class.
he's had a lot of great recruiting classes and it hasnt worked.

you can pretty much do this for a decade and the results will be similar.

Trust me, if LSU wasn't on a 5 game losing streak against Alabama, then the hot seat wouldn't be as hot. It has a lot to do with beating your arch rivals, not to mention LSU is on a 2 game losing streak to Arkansas as well.

I agree with that. The losing streak to Bama is a real bad look for him

I think it has worked though. It's just been 2 bad years. What do you think LSU should be? They've clearly been the 2nd best program in the SEC behind Bama over the last 10 years. They've been one of the probably top 5-7 winningest programs in NCAA during his tenure.

TYRONE GA!
OK but let me ask you this... what team in the SEC hasn't been in that same situation besides Alabama? In Les Miles entire tenure no team in the SEC has had that kind of sustained success besides Alabama.. even his "down" year is an 8 win season. Compared to other top programs like Florida and Auburn which really hit rock bottom.

No disrespect to LSU, it is a great program, but I think ya'll have some unrealistic expectations on what ya'll should be BASED ON what Les has done there. He has LSU exactly as the kind of program it should be.

And I see he has the top pro style QB committed to go there which I think will make a huge difference

Can't lose to Bama 5 straight times breh and worst average 16 points a game with that talent.

The 215
I'm citing win-loss records that are factual, publicly available information for anyone to find online. How would I possibly "make this up on my own" ? What in the everloving fukk are you talking about? Please start posting some coherent, logical content or I'm going to have to ask you to please stop quoting me.

Hmm.. based on some information I just "stole" from the Internet, it looks like LSU had Rohan Davey and Josh Booty at QB in the pre-Les Miles era. I recall both of them being pretty good college QB's. But they never had success like Miles had with say... dudes like Jordan Jefferson.. :jbhmm:
Soare me with the don't quote me talk just out me on ignore or don't reply. No need to attention whore it out. I'm obviously talking about the stuff that you'd either have to look up or be a dedicated fan to know. You aren't that stupid. People can mostly tell when somebody kicking something from actual knowledge of something or they got it from somewhere else (which I mentioned with hearing it from Bomani) in the first place. I think that's weak when people do that like its their own stuff. I recall you just imagining things them dudes were just ok and JJ success was a byproduct of the defense. This is the stuff you'd know if you wasn't just going by number you found. Its not a knock but you can tell the difference between seeing numbers and watching the games to know the real.

Honestly my main point is LSU talent wise should be in the convo every year you saying they shouldn't esp now is silly. If we don't agree on that cool but you're wrong to think otherwise. All the other stuff fukk it it we ain't going to agree so no need to go back and forth on it. Sorry for the names (not really) but dudes take it personal and I want you to know its not on my end. See you in the Boys thread.

LSU had talent before Les Miles

Saban was their HC.

Even Gerry Dinardo's bum ass was getting players into LSU.
This is all I was trying to say since this is when I started following LSU heavy (when Dinardo was there) because friends went there.

First off I don't know what you mean with the Bomani shyt, but I just looked at his Twitter and he's saying the complete OPPOSITE of me (he's saying LSU IS a top 5 program)

Anyway, I'm not trying to pass off nothing as my own. I'm just citing numbers to try to put Les tenure into some context. I'm not claiming to be a LSU expert and I'm not a LSU fan, but I'd say I've watched as much LSU under Les Miles as any other non-LSU fan has. Regardless of whether you are an expert on the team or not, all you need to do is look at the numbers to see how much BETTER they have been under Les Miles than they ever were before. Now why is that? Did the in-state talent all of the sudden grow more? What do LSU fans think they are supposed to be that they haven't been under Les Miles? That's what I asked in my first post in this thread.
