Not at all.

Renegade and Many Men were great.

Had some decent ones (Runnin', the song with Game) and a lot of :trash:

Also his sound is very 1 dimensional and repetitive.

He was okay as a producer but not underrated at all.

He didnt produce those tracks.

He's credited with producing them. Always assumed he did. But if he did not produce those ones, then I can't say that he deserves any credit as a producer.

Read the thread bruh, people literally posting articles, you can scroll and read.

I'll check it out.

The comment you initially quoted was from earlier in the thread before people posted articles and I haven't looked at this thread until you quoted me. I'll get around to it.

They literally put like 4 beats in there that were not produced by him... and they were four out of about six in the whole video that were dope :krs:

Not true, at all.

Dre still sits at the MPC and bangs out beats. Dude just had a studio full of legends last year, (Erick Sermon, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, Battlecat, etc.) And was giving a masterclass on how he likes to program drums and assign certain pads to sounds. He never stopped being hands-on with his production. Even when he brought in live players. He's always on the machine.
Yeah I remember Scott Strorch or Mel Man said Still DRE started with Dre putting together a drum pattern on the MPC and then they just jammed tot hat

Truth.

That dude lives on the MPC. As far as Mel-Man, I thought Dre would've kept him around for way longer. They had dope work together. I will never understand how Dre thinks when it comes to mentoring and keeping talent around besides D.O.C..
