let's be honest, outside a hand full of markets only 3-4 teams could resign him if they traded for him. Your playing a dangerous game by doing that. Unless your on the cusp of winning, i wouldn't gut the team for a 1 year rental that does not bring me closer to a ring

a team like the Celtics is on the cusp of winning....So much so to the point that making this move would also allow them the ability to trade for maybe another star as well....I don't think that The Celtics aren't a team he wouldnt be willing to sign with..
