the lack of respect for thriller is due to its success. Thriller is a much more daring and imaginative project. You have to have confidence in your ability to make a song about monsters and zombies

michael's 90s material does not get the attention it deserves like his 70s-80s material..on the topic of dangerous..dangerous has aged well to me..dude had some powerful powerful songs on that album..even the unreleased joints from those sessions were dope

ill never understand how a joint like serious effect with ll cool j didn't make it

Michael Jackson - Serious Effect [HQ] - YouTube

it shouldn't cuz it simply doesn't hold a candle to his early 80's older stuff.

thanks for doing me that favor...you had no argument in the first place

no YOURE THE ONE that had no argument in the 1st place.

I already made it pretty clear as to why I said what I said. then you busted into the conversation by hitting reply and responding with absolutely nothing but a smiley.

youre a simpleton. which is why im not wasting any more time talking to you.

don't even bother typing up a bunch of bullchit to make it seem like you have something to say all of a sudden neither.

*yawns*

Only a simpleton would think the king of pop was falling off because he wasn't feeling one of his critically acclaimed, commercially and damn near universally loved singles. You're actually one of the only people I've EVER heard say they didn't like Remember the Time. Even the 9 minute John Singleton video was :mj:

Thriller is a perfect 10/10 album. Off The Wall, while classic in it's own right, has some filler (Working Day and Night, Girlfriend, Burn This Disco Out).

But even the filler is :whoa: I love Girlfriend, but I'm also biased towards cutesy.

Thriller > Off The Wall > Bad > Dangerous

4 Back to Back To Back To Back Classics. But the "Off the Wall Vs Thriller" Debate you can't go wrong. But If I had to choose one, I'm going with "Thriller" off the strenth of "Human Nature" being the tie breaker. I do think "Off the Wall" musically is probably the better album but "Thriller" had it all. Every single song was basically a hit single. There were 9 songs, 7 songs were released and they all went Top 10. "Thriller" is just too iconic. "Off the Wall" Michael came into his own but "Thriller" was like Michael became a Man, he WAS the Super Star. I think both "Off the Wall" and "Thriller" are flawless. But it's like what do you like better? "Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back"? "Godfather I or Godfather II" so you can't go wrong with either pick but I think "Human Nature" puts "Thriller" over the top.

You know what, I've never even sat down and listened to off the wall all the way through yet. I need to do that.

But to me his best album is Bad. Smooth Criminal was just too powerful for me, man. When he came through with that white suit and them shoes, nikka? That shyt just captured me. Plus Bad had Man in the Mirror, Dirty Diana, Leave Me Alone, etc.
