Let's be honest, if you can't find a job right now, you don't actually want one

The problem with this logic is that the only jobs looking to hire ppl quickly is the fast food industry, cashier/customer service, local restaurants looking for cooks/dishwashers/servers, hospital cafeterias, and other lower-mid tier positions.

I'm a petroleum engineer and you can't just become one at the snap of finger as it takes time to process everything. High end jobs like mines is gonna take time in order to be hired.

It doesn't just happen.
Would you mind contributing to my thread series?

This isn't true. You just need to live someplace outside of NY/Cali/DC.

My last one bedroom was about 650/mo. And that wasn't a room, it was an apartment that included heat, water, and a covered parking spot.

I'll never understand why people want to live in stupid expensive areas :heh:
And where was this?

People shouldn't be having/doing a lot of shyt. But we gotta look at reality. It's already happening. Now what are people going to do about it?
it about getting what you can afford and leveling up
if u get an apartment you can't afford you are making your situation worst
get a room and build from there
people thinking they deserve shyt :mjlol:

This whole labor shortage situation is weird. I just saw a news clip where people are saying there are companies with hiring signs but not calling applicants back. People say supply and demand but this doesn't make any sense. Considering cost of living and inflation with mainstreet hurting the most.

People do deserve shyt. At least in a proper functioning society.
You have to put yourself in a position to succeed
there is opportunity
you can't make people give a fukk or want more
entitlement when you say you deserve something
plenty of people in the world with no hope

Everybody can't be successful. That's the rules to capitalism. A lot of people have to fail. This system requires losers. The least we can do for them is to make their situation comfortable.

Pull yourself up by the bootstrap nikkas wouldn’t even last a week working fast food. That shyt is hard work. That’s not even the half of it. You gotta deal with being short staff where it’s you and one other person trying serve 300 people in a shift. You gotta deal co-worker’s attitudes not just that the customer’s attitudes who look down on you because you working fast food. All that while being on your feet the whole shift. That’s why I’m sympathetic towards them. They deserve to live comfortably.

People concentrate their money to people
Athletes, celebrities and mega corporations
If people acted in self interest it wouldn’t be that way
People aren’t building their communities they are trying to fit in with people who are already successful and instead of building for themselves giving their wealth and power away
