He had no legit perimeter players his size to guard him :scusthov:

Outside of Clyde; Penny, and Reggie, most of the perimeter players in his era were bench warmers :scusthov:

He's still a hell of a player, but this is why Kobe is better. I'll admit that as a bron Stan. :manny:
If your a Bron Stan you should be comparing Lebron to MJ ,

That is a better and legitimate comparison :troll:

:what:

so the 90s knicks were weak?

the 90s pacers weak? (who STILL were contenders til the 04 malace in the palace)

93 suns?
96 sonics? kemp and gp in their primes

the 90s heat were no joke either.
swept shaq and penny who were in the finals the year before.

stockton and malone

Jason Kidd alone ruins this whole argument

this is a 90s guard who won a chip while defending LeBron.

Miller didn't make it to the finals until it was Kobes era. I thought his era was harder. I know millers squad wasn't any better. That also ruins this argument.

not to mention the fact that Jordan played against Magic and Isaiah, two guards that are arguably better than any other guards outside of Jordan and Kobe(since that time)

the Mourning/Hardaway 90s Miami Heat team would be 2 seed in the eastern conference today. Mourning would shyt all over hibbert and hardaway would shyt all over hill.

:comeon: cuz kobe facing bonzi wells, doug christie, voshon leonard, tony allen, bruce bowen, raja bell is that much better.Kobe faced tracy mcgrady in the regular season.Jordan faced clyde drexler and gary payton in the finals

You didn't refute my points though :mjpls:
So a 6'2 Gary Payton is the best defender you can bring up? :dead:
At least Kobe faced the likes of prime Tayshaun Prince and Bruce Bowen.

Only ones saying LeBron era is tougher are baby fakkits born after the 80's. Jordan's Bulls would 4-0 James' Heat any year.

I think the era where Jordan dominated was slightly weaker than the era where he got his azz whooped thoroughly by great teams like the Celtics and Pistons. The era after it had better athletes but a softer game overall and an expanded league with drug and personality issues ruining some of the would-be greats. I would have LOVED to see MJ play in either the era RIGHT before or RIGHT after. Only Charles was really f*ckin wit him for one season during his prime and he took Chuck's heart out in that triple-OT victory. He was also better conditioned than Barkley. Fact.

2-Guard is also a historically weak position so it's tough. I take nothing away from MJ accomplishing what he did but, as a fan, would've liked to see him like 10 years later.

Why you think he was itching to come back so bad when T-Mac and Kobe were on the come-up? :ld:

gary payton is better defender than any guard currently playing.

I mean MJ was still one of the better 2-guards in the league at 39,40 years old. MJ would've still been the best player in the league during early 2000's if he was 10-15 years younger.

Weaker era my ass.
