Very simple. The fact that there is no Black Super PAC is insane to me...

nikkas really said
"B-B-Bet we have black politicians!!! 1!"
:damn:

:mjlol:
Thank Gawd for CR movement, now the black community is blessed to be lead by the likes of tokens like Clarence Thomas, Ken Thompson & DeRay McKesson.
:mjlol::mjlol:
How we got political clout with no organized black political party?
:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:
nikkas just say shyt that supposed to sound good.

They truly believe in changing the ideas and morals of the white man.
When malcolm said the white man's inherent nature was the devil they hit him with :comeon:

Same black civil rights leaders would not sit at a table with Elijah Muhammad. .... but would sit with ALL white politicians.

Only one who smartend up was MLK and he got shot up after he switch his speech the last couple years. Met elijah muhammad and immediately was like " I've led my people into a burning house"

I never said there wasn't fault with the CR movement. I specifically highlighted the statement I had issues with. And of course what I just highlighted here is an example of one of the faults but its deeper than that. It's easy for us to criticize actions from 50 years ago

Man, woman, and child
There were people warning us even back then. Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X spring to mind. And Jackie Robinson pretty much destroyed the negro leagues. Even now, afro Hispanics run baseball. So who would actually watch inferior white athletes if there were still all black leagues. ESPN is really gonna give a billion dollar contract to see perennial league MVP dirk nowitsky, when u got Bron melo wade etc in their own league.

And as far as the activists getting killed, in war people die. It is what it is. But to surrender your manhood and live on your knees because you're afraid of death is cowardly. In fact the whole notion of marching and praying is cowardly. We forget all about the boycotts Dr. King organized that produced results. We've let them change the narrative to "we marched and fought for you to...". No white people realized they could extract all of our money out of the community by giving the illusion of inclusion... Then Asians followed that blueprint, then Arabs, and now Mexicans.

Some of us are just programmed to think the white man's ice is colder
Just for the record Im not disagreeing with you. But the problem is many of them didn't know any better. The reason we can even sit here and have this conversation is becuz we can look back and reflect on it. But we didn't live it and its wrong us to say what should've been done when were sperm. If it wasn't for OGs in my life coming up I might be in prison or dead right now. I didn't pick up my pro black views from the internet or nikkas around my age. I learned from the exact same people yall say dropped the ball. A ball we never even had to begin with

I don't think @DrX mentioned once whether or not he was one of the ones suffering from the mistakes of the previous generations. So now you're just making assumptions. Surely you didn't read ANY of the thread.

Posters like this is why this forum sucks. You just read the title of the thread, come in and post and don't even know what's going on...

Are you ill? :dahell:

What do you think he is talking about when he says "our current plight" :snoop:

Your lack of comprehension isn't my doing.

I have a couple baby mom's and a wife....

Does this mean my children won't be successful :usure:?
Statistically they're more likely to go down a path of failure. But this is usually in the case of one parent having nothing to do with the child. Do you have kids you have nothing to do with even if you're separated from their moms?

Listen to Neely Fuller Jr on youtube. Its called systematic white supremacy that has beaten down Blacks @DrX told no lies in the OP but he needs to go forward and build from there. Meanwhile you are clueless because you can't even see the problem that he spoke of and what this thread is about.

I don't need to watch that. If "white supremacy" has beaten you down then you are simply a person with a very weak mind.

Skin color does not hold you back in this country if you want to succeed. A toxic mindset will hold you back though.

A lot of black people have a toxic mindset. Why do you think foreign blacks are more successful in general?

This isn't true.
Nor is it a statistic with any real value.
Your sentiment is on point though, clearly our consumption as a people is steered in the wrong direction.

Show me these threads and I'll gladly read up. Macy's makes 100 billion a year and 50% of that is spent by us.
And could the reason they never taught the next generation is because they've never had anyone teaching them these exact same things?

I'd even argue that our generation would be held more accountable for our collective plight because at this point we have access to information they never dreamed of acquiring. We can also network in ways previous generations couldn't, so what's stopping us?

I actually agree with both points. It's many of generations before us that failed as well.

As far as the current generation that's coming to be, I think that alot of us are much smarter the previous generations. I mean we live in the information age, where endless knowledge is in our pockets on our mini computers /phones. I have alot of hope for our generation because it's in our hands now to make sure things are laid out well for the coming generations.

I'm sure they will be ok. They are in expensive private schools. They have both parents plus grandparents in their lives. They have whatever they need and due to genetics will probably do better than most children who have two parents together.

So we can't always label children w unmarried parents as future homeless felons

Well like I said if you're active in the day to day life this doesn't really apply. However odds are not in the favor of kids who have one parent effectively abandoning them ( paying child support doesnt count as active parenting ).

Hate to play the sexism card but this is especially bad in the case of single moms with sons. I come from such a situation and in the end turned out ok but I know I didn't make it easy for my mother and will admit that I would have been less of a handfull with my father around.

What do you think he is talking about when he says "our current plight" :snoop:

Your lack of comprehension isn't my doing.
It was a general statement about the previous generation(s) being responsible for the plight of the current generation, which is another general statement, because not all young black people are struggling. Whether or not he is apart of the struggling black youth is something he never clarified, so you can't then, assume that he is. Get it????

Since you don't seem to understand generalizations, you have no room to criticize someone's comprehension. It is you who aren't comprehending, I understand and have read the entire thread. Unlike you...
