Biggie is top 10, 5, and even 3...you could argue that.
And you guys gotta stop hyping about Biggie's sales when talking about Pac. Biggie debuted when NY was incredibly weak and losing to the west coast in sales. NY rap scene was looking to fill a void and Biggie was that artist to fill it. However, Pac debuted in 91 during a competitive scene in the west coast. Couple with the fact that R2D had strong pop rap singles that had crossover appeal, S4MN and 2N were underground albums.

pac lack of sales was due to a very competitve west

the excuse need to stop, pac had it better than just about any artist from the west back then
he was on a major label -possibly the number 1 label in the recording industry
he was a very good actor doing plenty of TV and movies
and he was getting endorse by a few hip hop clothing lines
he didnt sell records cause hip hop headz wasnt really feeling his music
it iz what it iz
biggie success in sales was due to a incredibly weak NY

like u really gonna say that ridiculous shyt
when before R2D drop, the 2 all time & lemme say it again ALL TIME albums from NY (both didnt go platinum till years later on)
that would be the incredible 'wu tang 36 chambers' thereafter the masterful 'nas illmatic'
