Nah unlike the Avengers, Defenders and the Fantastic 4, the X-men are still feared because they are militant compared to other teams. They break into government facilities and destroy files of mutants that were registered during the mutant registration act, they accept mutants from all walks of life and most of their roster are reformed villains. They are far from c00ns. Random trivia the kid with mutie spray painted across his face is Franklin Richards

Magneto just collected all the angry mutants and had them attacking any and everybody with no real plans for an actual community
