people comparing the mutants' plight in these movies/comic books to real life race issues is annoying as fukk and one of the reasons I don't even keep up with that shyt anymore. like nah them nikkas can blow up cities, don't sit there and act like their struggle is the same as black folks lol

someone with professor x power would have to be killed immediately in the real world and he just gets to walk around like shyt's sweet. and got the nerve to complain about equality :gucci:

:mjlol:People in here really acting as if humans shouldn't be afraid of mutants.

just looked this up...
wasnt it just the staging ground for his global conquest campaign....
ultimately leading to the destruction of the whole island?
That wasn't his goal the beginning. It just came up when he suddenly gained an army. But it only led to him being hurt (by the X-Men ofc). The person who destroyed Genosha for the first time was Cassandra Nova... Through the hands of dear Charles Xavier :francis:

the people who are using the malcom and martin comparisons are right but the thing is a lot of x-men fans realize that it was always a false equivalence.

for starters a majority of the x-men just look like white people so it was always more a jewish metaphor especially since stan lee was jewish.

later writers try to make it more like the malcom/martin comparison by adding storm and more mutants who don't just look like white people.

furthermore xavier is an a$$hole

Magneto was more like Malcolm, Professor X was more like Martin. Neither approach was wrong, just depends on how you view the situation and the potential outcome of either scenario :yeshrug:
Xavier and Martin were definitely wrong. :beli:

Facts. I would unapologetically be in favor of mutant registration. Mufukkas running around who can bend reality at will and think no one's supposed to say anything?:hhh:

Honestly the Malcolm and Martin argument regarding the X-Men is intellectually lazy. White Mutants for the most part could still benefit from white privilege if they were white and normal looking. Also while Charles wanted harmony amongst mutants mutants and non mutant he definitely didn't stand for systematic oppression by the government not to mention the dozens of times the X-Men have saved the earth if not the Universe.

Magneto was a severe egomaniac who wanted to subjugate human kind the way he felt he was and in turn took in mostly angry, emotionally unstable mutants to not only take over Earth but kill other mutants to get his way. To serve his agenda. He was willing to do whatever it took no matter morally reprehensible as long as the ends were met.

With that said Professor X is no angel either.

But this discussion also shows why X-Men are the crown jewel of Marvel because there is enough evidence to make an argument either way. Neither the Prof or Magneto are 100% good or bad.
