A "degree in monkeys" but doesn't know that gorillas aren't monkeys and believes a degree of any kind would make him "uniquely" qualified. What a fraud

The stamina argument about humans is completely overused too and not used properly in this context. Humans' stamina advantage is related more to running, which is the one skill they should actually be using to run as far away as possible from this gorilla. The gorilla wouldn't even need to use much energy at all to seriously injure a large number of humans without even needing to pay further attention to them while dealing with others. There's not a lot of men who will still fight bravely against anyone after a gorilla has just bitten his arm or even wrangled it a bit.
But even those who do try to fight bravely, what are they going to be doing to hurt the gorilla without weapons and how long can they do that without the gorilla going HAM on them? And after seeing these bravest of men get destroyed while listening to their agonized screams and seeing their maimed bodies, who of the less brave people is going to step up and do what the first people failed to do?
