Traded James Harden For....

TPE
Jeremy Lamb
Steven Adams
Mitch Mcgary
Alex Abrines

and a Year of Kevin Martin

We Can use the TPE on pau gasol depending on what melo does or even someone else. personally i think we already won the trade what's ya'll thoughts?
nikka y'all really let a top ten player walk away for basically nothing.

And let him learn some defense in a year or two and he could be top 3-5.

we did?

we got a MUCH better starting center
potential starting sg
skilled PF with incredible potential.
highly rated sg international prospect
and 6.6 million dollars exception. we won.

Lamb and Adams haven't emerged as more than average role players, yet. You JUST got McGary, the TPE is only an idea, unless you can find a good reason to use it. And Abrines hasn't had an impact at all, yet.
And on top of everything, your team hasn't gotten to the finals.
So, no. It's a loss.

sports bar logic right here.

didn't get to the finals=failure.

Perkins is good?
Reggie Jackson is solid but not a quality starter yet.
Ibaka is great, no problem there. And you can't bet on a international prospect working out when you have an idiot coach.

Face it. A scoring wing is more valuable in today's NBA than a defensive big.

Steven Adams is bad?
I was discussing what we got as returns

if Brooks actually gave Lamb run OKC would be clear cut winners. Adams gonna be good too.
and Harden is a stone cold bottom fakkit so of course OKC wins regardless

Breh, what makes you so sure :heh:

I agree he should get more minutes, but he's not the one that will bring them over the hump

What people ain't talking bout is what really fukked up the trade was the Toronto pick was supposed to be high as hell maybe top 3. Then they traded for rudy gay.

That made the pick way higher than they thought it would be.

Watch mcgary beast tho

I hope he does. I've always liked him, and he plays hard as hell.

Overall, I think the point is: OKC gave up an All-Star level player, and the extra scoring/shooting that their team desperately needs, and they haven't replaced it.

I would love to see Adams/Lamb develop and beast. I like OKC more than I like Houston. There is plenty of time. But in the meantime, Houston went from a nothing franchise, to a competitive team in the west.
