What people ain't talking bout is what really fukked up the trade was the Toronto pick was supposed to be high as hell maybe top 3. Then they traded for rudy gay.

That made the pick way higher than they thought it would be.
end up getting probably the 4th best player in the draft still.

I hope he does. I've always liked him, and he plays hard as hell.

Overall, I think the point is: OKC gave up an All-Star level player, and the extra scoring/shooting that their team desperately needs, and they haven't replaced it.

I would love to see Adams/Lamb develop and beast. I like OKC more than I like Houston. There is plenty of time. But in the meantime, Houston went from a nothing franchise, to a competitive team in the west.

And that right there is why nobody would ever think we won the trade. Harden wasn't that until he went to Houston & had the freedom to do whatever he wanted on offense without a KD or Russy there in front of him. At the time of that trade the Wizards wouldn't give up Beal & the Raptors wouldn't give up Jonas, but people act like there was some team out there that was going to give up an all star in return for him.

How can the tpe be used for pau gasol?

Harden has been trash his last 3 playoff series so I dunno why people are mentioning okc not making the finals

If Westbrook / Ibaka didn't get hurt they might have gone to the last 2 finals

We will know if okc won once lamb gets consistent minutes....Adams is a problem

@Loose dropping insight as always

Lamb is average

Adams is solid

McGary is cool

But you still let a 24 y/o star walk away because you're cheap brehs :mjlol:

N***as could of had Harden and Reggie Jackson off the bench :russ:

That step back :wow:

The prize possession for Harden, Lamb...been in the league a few years now and he out here looking so-so in the D League...

colossal fukk up all the way around...KD might win a chip someday...but it won't be in an OKC jersey

Traded James Harden For....

TPE
Jeremy Lamb
Steven Adams
Mitch Mcgary
Alex Abrines

and a Year of Kevin Martin

We Can use the TPE on pau gasol depending on what melo does or even someone else. personally i think we already won the trade what's ya'll thoughts?

I'm not going to knock you but it would take these guys especially Lamb, mcgary, Adams to reach their full potential.

Breh, what makes you so sure :heh:

I agree he should get more minutes, but he's not the one that will bring them over the hump
And Harden was?
He would have left as soon as he could in FA anyway. He was never staying in okc long term.
Okc will never win any ship with Brooks as the coach anyway.

That's the thing though, Harden was fresh off the Olympic team and there was no need to trade him so soon. Could have signed that extension and let him ball one more year under the rookie scale. Was he gunna put up the numbers he did in Houston? No, but he still could have increased his value. That's why we laugh at this trade, they traded too earlier for a so-so return.

I disagree, if all of them were to become starting caliber players(which they will) it'll easily be better then

ibaka
harden

:heh: Come on now. No matter how you cut it, they would have three of the top 20 players in the league with Ibaka rounding out the lineup as a top-35 guy to boot.

You don't believe vets would be lining up around the block year after year to take that 5th spot?

That is their full potential to be honest...Adams and lamb should start this year unless Pau goes there.
