And while your at it, make a better boom bop beat that it ain't hard to tell, shook ones, follow the leader, lookin at the front door.
As a real hip-hop fan...I love, respect, and appreciate both trap and boom-bap/sample beats
They'll always be producers that push each style to it's limits and make greatness, just like they'll always be average to wack ass producers that make sub par beats in different styles.
I've heard average trap beats, and I've heard average sample beats. I don't like one style over the other. They both have their place.
My UK breh @clanarchy makes some of the best sampled beats I've ever heard and my Canada breh @DBR makes some of the hardest complex trap beats I've ever heard.
I would never disrespect either by saying it's easy to do what they do or that one takes more talent to do than the other.
We should all be building together and giving props to those that do excel in either production style..
fukk all this tearing each other down and holding pissing contests on which production style is better.
Is this a trap beat to you all?
Apparently it is as was said from the artist's mouth way after I had already heard the song. Keeping it 100, that designation didn't even cross my mind. I just heard/ hear a dope ass beat.
Can only agree with this though . Could never make sample beats as good as @clanarchy or @TEKBEATZ can
And while your at it, find a trap beat that has any replay value.

you act like we haven't heard it... the super lyrical, respected mc's on trap beats... it rarely ever works out correctlythey actually create their own music...alot of these sou;l samplers loop samples also...the real reason hiphop heads hate trap beats are because of the shytty rappers that rap on them....If nas hoped on a sonny digital beat, magically sonny would be that nikka in agmonst hiphop heads....hiphop heads are sheep just like the causal fans
We just need conscious lyrical dudes on the trap sound...imagine a modern day cube or tupac on a groovy 808...that shyt would change the game....
I think these guys waste their talent working with these bum ass rappers....if they want to become legends, they need rappers that can bring substance to their tracks...whos going to listen to young thug 7 years from now?
so dont hate the producer, hate the "artist"
its actually more time consuming finding samples then it is making ethe beats sometimes. LOL @ mentioning mass appeal like that was some easy flip. 1.5 seconds of sound in a 4 min random composition... only a trained ear for beats would have found it.
Gang Starr's Mass Appeal - Discover the Sample Source
mass appeal is more classic than any trap beat
