That Suns team didn't even have the best record in the league; 4th overall and nine wins behind San Antonio.kobe led scrubs to the playoffs true, but he still didn't deserve the mvp over nash
Nash was awesome, but Kobe clearly had a better season.

thank you for proving my point.Kobe had a great individual season but nash clearly had a bigger impact on winning.Kobe "couldn't" win that one year because of the Colorado fiasco even if he clearly deserved it... you know, because the NBA has always been a bastion of moral authority![]()
You think Nash woulda won 45 games surrounded by the six I mentioned and Lamar Odom?Amare missed that whole seasonthank you for proving my point.Kobe had a great individual season but nash clearly had a bigger impact on winning.

JKIDD used to dominate games without even scoringIf Jason Kidd never won one, then Nash shouldn't have either.
Steve Nash finished his career with more MVP's than Shaq and Kobe![]()
I'm not sure if anyone in the league besides LBJ can claim thatWhen you put it like thatCan't believe dude won back-to-back MVPs. Rest of the list goes: Bill Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Moses Malone, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Duncan, and LeBron.
They really put Nash on their level?![]()

Instead, he had Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Leandro Barbosa, Kurt Thomas and Tim Thomas. Odom's the only guy on the Lakers who would have sniffed their rotation.
Thanks for proving my point.![]()

Nash had better teammates. That's it. The MVP should go to the best player in the league. You're going to punish a player because he is surrounded by trash? That's on management. Not the player.
Best player on best team logic is flawed. That' how you end up with Rose, Iverson, Nash and Malone winning MVPs over Shaq, Kobe, Lebron and Jordan. Might as well just give the MVP to the entire organization. To the front office for putting the team together, to the coaching staff for coaching them to the top seed and to the players for going out and getting wins.
not kobe with his 42-40 and 45-37 lakers
