Raja Bell,Shawn Marion, barbosa and Boris Diaw had the best seasons of their careers playing with nash marion shot 57% from the field and had a career high in ppg. That's what real mvp's do elevate their teams play AND make others around them better instead of putting up individual numbers while your team is a handful of games over .500 this was after the suns lost amare for the year and joe johnson that off season btw

:sas2:
Kwame Brown, Luke Walton, Lamar Odom, Chris Mihm, Brian Cook, Devean George and Smush Parker all had their best seasons playing with Kobe. :sas1:

Smush Parker looked like a rotational player when he played with Kobe. Both the Heat and Clippers cut him after he left the Lakers and he was out of the league by age 26 when most players are just starting to hit their prime.

Your issue is with the mvp criteria.Don't hate the player hate the criteria. You kobe groupies need to get over it.Kobe should have 0 mvp's they robbed chris paul in 08.He was the person really robbed :snoop: not kobe with his 42-40 and 45-37 lakers
Going by your logic Kobe should have won the MVP in 08. Best player on the best team in the conference. :francis:

You think Nash woulda won 45 games surrounded by the six I mentioned and Lamar Odom? :sas2:

Instead, he had Shawn Marion, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Leandro Barbosa, Kurt Thomas and Tim Thomas. Odom's the only guy on the Lakers who would have sniffed their rotation.

Thanks for proving my point. :sas1:

Nash went .500 in the lockout season when he was 37 with this team

Was only 2012 and 6 of the 13 players are out of the league

I'm not sure what you're trying to prove. That team was loaded compared to the 2005-07 Lakers. Again, Odom is the only teammate who would have cracked the rotation on that team. :wtf:

We can go further and say that everyone had their best seasons with Kobe, it's travesty that Kobe has one MVP, but I understand.

Nash had better teammates. That's it. The MVP should go to the best player in the league. You're going to punish a player because he is surrounded by trash? That's on management. Not the player.

Best player on best team logic is flawed. That' how you end up with Rose, Iverson, Nash and Malone winning MVPs over Shaq, Kobe, Lebron and Jordan. Might as well just give the MVP to the entire organization. To the front office for putting the team together, to the coaching staff for coaching them to the top seed and to the players for going out and getting wins.
lol @ hating on iverson's mvp

look up the roster from that year. i think their 2nd best player was a :flabbynsick: dikembe mutombo

That 00/01 Philly squad is similar to this Houston team. Plug in a scoring ball-handler and the defense will do the rest of the work.

Suns go from a 29 win team with the same coach and players in '04 then win 62 with the addition of Steve Nash in '05 then they lose Amare for the '06 season and still win 54 games and Nash has a 50/40/90 season with both teams having historical level offenses

People crying over Kobe not winning in '06 but when is the last time a player on a low seeded team won MVP? Jordan 37ppg on a 8th seed didn't win MVP with Horace Grant and bums.

I never said this. The criteria is a top 5-6 record in the league and having a good or great statistical individual season.

Which is why curry or harden will win it this year and russ won't

I felt it should've been:
2005 Nash
2006 Kobe
2007 Nash

But when they gave Nash the 2006 award (which I'm not really upset about, but how Kobe wasn't even runner up, that's another story) and then he followed it up with probably his best year, it kinda went "we can't give it to him 3 years in a row. Here Dirk!" :merchant:

Uncertain grounds
NEITHER

system + team being stacked + no defense = no mvp

starbury went for 20/10 with the suns and a rookie amare and marion. amare and marion got better, joe johnson etc with d'antonis system? what the fukk u expect? steph curry would have 27/12 with the same shooting percentages with that team
