mpg doesnt translate to higher production. Its easy to come in spurts and give your all in that small period of time and not have to worry about what happens when you arent there because you have other elite scorers on the team. Take the 2017 finals for example, KD could take long rests and the rest of the team would still be fine but every time Lebron took a small break, he'd come back to a bigger deficit
The extra minutes show how LeBron's team needs him in such a larger role whereas the Warriors are comfortable and Durant doesn't need to totally exert himself. If Durant played more minutes he would average more points, that's rather simple when we're talking about players of this caliber and who shoulder large offensive loads.extra mins don't mean more points. That prob means more bricks. especially the energy you gotta use all by yourself with no help.
KD doesn't avg more than 5 asts. He not getting anyone else involved which means nobody is going to play any defense. KD is getting swept by the pacers.
I'm not saying Durant is as good as LeBron, he would lead a team as far, or anything like that. What I'm saying is that looking at the raw stat lines really doesn't tell the story here.
