So KD gonna run the point for the cavs and have double figure assists? Will he be able to play 46 and 48 minutes consistantly cause the cavs cant hold leads?

where do yall come up with this?

you have to assume that KD would and could do all the things that Lebron does....consistently.....which if we're honest he's never done

not talking about simply stats....talking about being the number one....and shouldering that responsibility, night in and night out....

KD is extremely talented....probably more so that lebron.... but he doesnt have the same type of drive that lebron does

AND add the fact that he joined up with the 73 win GSW ....AFTER giving up a 3-1 lead to them...largely because he played awful.....shyts on this thread premise

terrible premise for a thread

KD talented as a scorer but is no where near as versatile. That is why come playoff time lebron teams are so hard to beat. Cause he can fill in any role or position the team needs.

The Thunders failures get blamed on Westbrook but it was both Westbrook and KDs fault, they would resort to hero ball late in games. Either miss shots or turn the ball over, and forget about their teammates.

KD needs to be held more accountable for the Thunders shortcomings and not just Russ. Those two couldve won a championship. Warriors stans shyt on Russ to try to deflect attention off the snake. Bottom line is hes a coward, a p*ssy, a snake and Lebron is still better

:russ: At this dumb shyt.

KD would not be able to thrive in a situation where he has to be the main creator. The guy has very limited playmaking skills. It would be a lot easier for teams to load up on him than it is to load up on Lebron. He’s more likely to take a tough fade away midranger than pass it cross court to an open Korver for three.

Exactly

What's failed to realize in these situations is in that time, Bron actually followed a system. You're argument would work if we were talking about now and tbh the thread title is true KD on this Cavs team can do what Bron is doing now especially since he's in his prime.

These kats are going to ignore that during lebrons run with the heat he was required to be the best defender and rebounder too. There is no way Durant guards folks like Rose or Parker. Or is able to bang in the paint leading the heat in rebounding.

Lol funny how you did all the talking when warriors we're winning 73 games...the moment they lost..u took a leave of absence... Even koreanthoughts didn't go hiding like you

:umad:
:usure:

Here I was still posting after the 2016 Finals when Durant signed with GS (weeks after the Finals):

THECOLI LOST. :whew:
Any of y'all muhfukkas that said Curry and the Warriors got exposed, I don't wanna hear y'all talk about how this is an 'unfair' or 'bytchass' move. :umad:
Y'all can blame Barnes for this. All he needed to do was make a few OPEN shots and Durant would still be on the Thunder.
I don't support any move. The players can do whatever they fukk they want. Good for Durant that he doesn't let this sport praxis of doing the right thing get in the way of wanting to win.
This is what I'll be looking most forward to -

Draymond and KD being able to guard any roll-man, ball-handler or post-player is going to be :ohlawd:. Dudes don't even know how great KD will be for their defense, considering he'll be their longest player on the court in most lineups.

Why do y'all still push these lies after I provide receipts every single time?

@Riffi

Following the '16 Finals:
After I've already stated on numerous occasions that Curry was one of the main reasons why the Warriors lost, I'm not having this discussion again. :manny:
How in the fukk are you still not tired of responding to this shyt
Gil was posting for about another month after the finals. Someone neg the OP for not having a clue what he's talking about while I'm on 30's
bu-bu-but @Gil Scott-Heroin disappeared after the Finals.

I seen kd take the thunder to playoffs in the West by himself

the thunder's first playoff appearance was with Durant, westbrook, harden, jeff green, ibaka, maynor, etc

durant could've went east. one of the best backcourts in the league is in Durant's hometown, but instead he chose to go piggy-back off the warriors, right after they knocked him out the playoffs in the most frustrating of fashions.

Only two posts ..you were clearly still hurt, my breh
Only two posts? I had hundreds of posts after the Finals. Which is funny because I was basically the only poster on this board who said the Cavs only chance at winning (when down 1-3) was to push the pace and attack the Warriors early in the shot-clock, and everyone disagreed with me, and ultimately that's what won them the series. I even said before the series started, that I couldn't pick who was going to win.

I'm just giving you an example, can you not tell by dude saying "How in the fukk are you still not tired of responding to this shyt"? Why do you think he said that? Clearly, I must've been responding to a lot of posts for him to say that, don't you think?

:usure:
But :salute:for admitting that curry was the main reason they lost that series (and not because of “deterioration”)
:dwillhuh:

First of all, I said one of the reasons, not the only reason, and just because he was one of the reasons doesn't mean he wasn't deteriorating. They're not mutually exclusive. His knee was the size of a grapefruit after every game in the Finals - you don't think that affected his game/performance? Did you not see his mobility was limited in that series? Did you not see a difference in his mobility from the '16 Finals compared to the '17 Finals?
