it's like y'all cant even talk about the trash that came out in the 90's without making some kinda argument on how good select 90's albums were compared to the state of hip hop today.

What can I tell ya. Marginal Gangster rappers with absurd hair rapping over loops that were already old and played out to me didn't float my boat.

i can bump a bit of SCC but their sound is very repetitive and they do that SUPER gangsta brand of hip hop where it's over the top ALL the time.

def co-sign about the dikkriding the 90's shyt. i hear that shyt all the time, cats acting like everything that dropped in the 90's was top notch but if you were there you remember a lot of trash as well. i'm willing to bet a lot of people like the beats alot more than the rhymes tho, especially on the trash songs because even for a wack artist you had to be somewhat capable with an MP to make the sample heavy style of beats that were popular back then.
