Dirk is shyt cause he lost as a 1 seed. So again, you are in here saying KG >> Duncan by that logic :ehh:
You said Dirk never had a team. They won 67 games and pissed the season away. That's why I mentioned it but you are deflecting. Lets discuss it. :jbhmm:

kg never had a team in minn. as good as either of those mavs finals teams

Having one year wit a old spree and cassell is the best players he played wit
It was sure better every minn team

And let's act like dirk wasn't surround his entire career wit better talent

Nash
Howard
Terry
Finley
Chandler
Kidd

Was pretty much better than anybody kg ever played wit in minn. and many year dirk and all those talented player underachieved and loss, and was the first team to lose to a number seed, all while being guarded by a 6-8 sf
He never went to the Finals with Nash and Finley. Dirk wasn't MVP franchise player DIrk until they both left.

Josh Howard had a spark when he started and 4 years later was garbage. Pierce and Allen were both better than him.

Chandler was a defensive specialist. No real comparison there with KG's teams.

Jason Kidd?? Really? Dude was like 38 years old and nothing more than an on-floor coach when Dirk won. So 38 year old Kidd matters but we gonna act like Ray Allen dropping 30 points throughout the season aint shyt.

Okay.

I'm talking bout minn and 38 year old kidd guarded the main Opposing players That entire playoff(kd, Roy, kobe and lebron)

And pretty much saved them in that close out game when dirk couldn't hit nothin

Again, starting 5 of Devin Harris (before he was on the Nets jacking up 20 shots a night), Adrian Griffin (WHO?), Josh Howard (he alright), Dirk, and Erica Dampier (:mjlol:).

Off the bench was Jason Terry who was a very good 6th man and Dirk's best teammate and :flabbynsick: Stackhouse.

That team beat the PRIME Spurs with Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, and Bowen. They also beat the Suns with Nash, Marion, Barbosa. No Amar'e that series.

They did all that because of Dirk. They did all that cause Dirk alone was able to space the floor and draw double teams and create open looks to make Josh Howard look like a 20ppg player. We all know Josh Howard wasn't really shyt as an NBA player, but he thrived when he got to play off-ball with Dirk.

That was not a GREAT team. That was a team full of role players centered around a GREAT player.

If KG was a GREAT player, he should have done more than just wasted away in the West all those years. Dirk made his teammates better. Clearly. KG was a force, but his teammates stayed trash.

But again, KG needed All-Stars to do what Dirk did with role players. I still have yet to see anybody dispute this or bring up a counter argument. KG had his chance with role players in Minny. Got to 1 measly WCF.

I know all of you have fond childhood memories of ferocious KG slapping the floor and playing with insane intensity, but dud was basically the CP3 of PFs in his era. Constant underachiever. Come playoffs, his teams never did shyt. And if you gonna crucify 67 win Dirk or TMac for getting bounced in the playoffs, you need to stop being delusional stans and crucify KG for that same shyt. Year after year after year after year after year.

But nah, you all wanna give him a pass. Do you. I dropped knowledge in this thread. Tons of it. Apparently you guys gonna just give KG a pass and compare his short ass stretch in Boston playing with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to Dirk's career playing with Jason Terry.

So Dirk wasn't Dirk until he became Dirk. :mjlol:
Nash left and became a better player in Phoenix. When Nash left, it thrust Dirk into the unquestioned #1 role and he played like it and carried his team.

Is this escaping you? It's quite obvious to anybody who has watched basketball. They both elevated their game and became better players when they separated.

Nash took a team that won 29 games the previous year and won 60 with them. No, it's not escaping me. I am well aware of how valuable Steve Nash was :troll:

minimally...Dirks is a lot higher than KG's..

KG has hung around post-injuries and done nothing. What do you want? He should have retired a few years ago. :mjlol:

Still, CP3 ain't LeBron so I wouldn't say WS is the end all be all of statistics.

Hakeem, 06 Wade, and 11 Dirk are the only guys to win a ring in the last 25 years without an All-Star teammate.

Hakeem and Dirk were GREAT players who disrupted the opposition's flow and floor spacing and made the game easier for their teammates. Wade went Michael Jordan in 2006. Shaq was garbage on that team. Shaq scored 4 points in Game 2 of that NBA Finals. Totally washed.

Garnett needed Pierce and Allen. There's levels to this shyt. And Dirk is in a level that KG never reached. Dirk was able to be the number 1 guy that teams could gameplan for, focus on, and try and double team and force into bad situations.

KG didn't have to deal with that. If anything, teams would rather KG have the ball down the stretch than Pierce or Allen.

For all of KG's intensity and defense, he couldn't really do shyt to help his team win games down the stretch in Minny. You can't give KG the ball repeatedly in close 4th quarter situations and expect positive outcomes consistently the way you can with Duncan and Dirk.

And in the game of basketball, that is everything. The way we praise Brady for being clutch, there's a special appreciation for guys like Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, an Dirk. Guys who you can certifiably go to in clutch moments and expect them to come through.

KG ain't that. He's a tier below.
