Again, starting 5 of Devin Harris (before he was on the Nets jacking up 20 shots a night), Adrian Griffin (WHO?), Josh Howard (he alright), Dirk, and Erica Dampier (

).
Off the bench was Jason Terry who was a very good 6th man and Dirk's best teammate and

Stackhouse.
That team beat the PRIME Spurs with Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, and Bowen. They also beat the Suns with Nash, Marion, Barbosa. No Amar'e that series.
They did all that because of Dirk. They did all that cause Dirk alone was able to space the floor and draw double teams and create open looks to make Josh Howard look like a 20ppg player. We all know Josh Howard wasn't really shyt as an NBA player, but he thrived when he got to play off-ball with Dirk.
That was not a GREAT team. That was a team full of role players centered around a GREAT player.
If KG was a GREAT player, he should have done more than just wasted away in the West all those years. Dirk made his teammates better. Clearly. KG was a force, but his teammates stayed trash.
But again, KG needed All-Stars to do what Dirk did with role players. I still have yet to see anybody dispute this or bring up a counter argument. KG had his chance with role players in Minny. Got to 1 measly WCF.
I know all of you have fond childhood memories of ferocious KG slapping the floor and playing with insane intensity, but dud was basically the CP3 of PFs in his era. Constant underachiever. Come playoffs, his teams never did shyt. And if you gonna crucify 67 win Dirk or TMac for getting bounced in the playoffs, you need to stop being delusional stans and crucify KG for that same shyt. Year after year after year after year after year.
But nah, you all wanna give him a pass. Do you. I dropped knowledge in this thread. Tons of it. Apparently you guys gonna just give KG a pass and compare his short ass stretch in Boston playing with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to Dirk's career playing with Jason Terry.
