He has better numbers than any other small foward not named James, Durant or Melo... and he's 35 years old.

Pierce is still elite top 4.

nikkas forget how nice Pierce was night in bight out in his prime. He's been inconsistent this season, but he's still the 4th best SF in the league imo. He outplayed Durant and and Melo in the same game ike it was nothing too. Pierce is that nikka.

Are George's numbers suppose to be impressive? lol at these 20 somthing year old nikkas scoring less and having a lower per than a damn near 36 year old Paul Pierce. :russ:

These "second tier SFs" are trash to me. George is a career role player and nothing more.

So...

17 and 8 isn't impressive? With 4 dimes and 2 steals to go along with it? He's also a great defender.

I can be excited about Paul George's ability without saying Pierce is trash.

Thats bafoonery.

Pierce is old as shyt and played a bazillion minutes, but he can still do everything you'd want out of a wing most nights better than most other teams wings.

Pierce got that old man crafty scorer touch now, which is hard to come by.

Sorry how is 19, 6 and 4 (Pierce) better than 17, 8 and 4 (George)?

Pierce is the better scorer, obviously, but George at this point in Pierce's career is better at every other facet of the game.

Used to watch him play at Fresno State and prayed that we would've drafted him instead of Aminu:snoop:

And Paul Pierce is putting up better numbers than these dudes.

:pachaha:

Paul Pierce is second only to Kobe when it comes to "moves" and "skill set"

Brolic... Alcoholics
An assist away from a triple double. Played great D on Rudy Gay all game and if his teammates kicked it to him when they should have he would have more than 12 points in this game

He needs to have the ability to take over games. LeBron struggled with it early in his career. He has to demand the ball.

No, they aren't. Why are dudes so quick to make role players all stars?

Don't know what you're on, but 8 boards per game from your SF is impressive. You haven't watched him play to speak on it OBVIOUSLY. But even then, looking at his numbers and team's record would tell you he's on the rise.

Way to come in this thread and make it about Paul fukking Pierce though.

8 boards is very impressive, but you posted his overrall numbers. 3rd year dudes averaging 17 and 8 is not thread worthy.:rudy:

And you fcked up by putting him in the same "tier" as Pierce. That's disrespectful. I had to step in.

WTF are you talking about, he's only 22 and has unlimited upside, has been getting better every year

realistically he is heading into Lebron territory. May eventually surpass Durant as his biggest rival since they're in the same conference

He already made his leap breh

18.8 7rebs 1.2 steals 2.5 assists

20.1 6 rebs 2 assts 1.4 steals

Other small forwards at 21 poised to make that jump to the top tier of sf

Luol Deng

Rudy Gay

Check out the numbers of their leap against the career averages. He aint got no unlimited potential just like they didnt
