yea...i dont think anybody had a problem with hibbert being in the RA...i think the problem was when he jumps and extends his arms into the offensive player attempting to block the shot....and atleast in the examples posted and in that gif...those were fouls....

like i said its a judgement call
One dude specifically complained because Hibbert was in the RA. I quoted him earlier, can't remember who it was.

Some of them are just bad calls most definitely. But jumping straight up isn't a foul.

nope its not...the problem is that thats not all hes doing...

it is what it is...teams will just have to adapt....

once he starts getting called for it tho (and he will)...it will be hilarious

I don't know if you're purposely doing this, but you're ignoring the main points of complaint to attack the minor and saying "well you're specifically complaining about it.". It's disingenuous and makes you look bad... I suggest you fall back

:why:

He quoted me right after I JUST talked about that. I addressed ALL of it in my previous posts. When dude started talking about jumping in the RA that was the only reason I even started posting in the thread.

But they called a offensive foul on bron when he attacked hibbert while he was in the circle

That relly doesn't have anything to do with what I said. You can still be called for an offensive foul inside the circle, it doesn't absolve you a foul call. It absolves the player driving to the hole of an offensive charge inside the circle. That circle's sole purpose is to govern offensive charge calls. Im not sure which play you're talking about when Bron got the offensive charge, but if it was the one when Bron ran up the court Nd got a T, then it's legal to make that call if he pushed off in the air or did something to create space in the air. I'm not judging the call, it might have been a bad call, but with the speed of the game, a lot of calls are not accuarate or not called.

My biggest problem is that Bron and the Heat are one of the biggest benefactors of missed calls (especially travel), and what Hinbert is doing is/has been legal by every standard since the beginning of the NBA. The majority of the time the refs get the calls correct, thats why they nitpick 3 or four pictures that look like a foul should have been called. And the other guy said they should be fouls because he's in the circle :mindblown:

At the top.
HIbbert clearly has his arms going forward on these alleged block attempts. They need to start calling him for this shyt.

How about we quote the original posts breh
dude beat the Knicks with this trash last year...they NEVER called the foul :snoop:

I was straight up heated... straight up and down cheating...dude is inside the circle and everything

This is exactly what it is.

:snoop:
Being inside the circle has absolutely nothing to do with it. You're still allowed to contest a shot while standing in the circle. The only thing the circle restricts is offensive charge calls.

Now, read iLLaV3's post and tell me his main problem was Hibbert being in the restricted area, or admit that it was the fact that Hibbert got away with (in his and many other's opinions) illegal defense.

I see you want to change what I'm arguing about, but I ain't going. My gripe from the beginning was that he said Hibb couldn't be in the restricted area. The other stuff is open for interpretation, I wasn't even making a defense for it. I said some of the calls are bad calls, but it's not illegal to jump straight up. I wasn't making an attempt to say that Roy never fouled anyone.

As a matter of fact, this was my first response

My thing is I don't have a problem w/ verticality rule if the player is straight up and 99% of the time hibbert isn't. If the refs are gonna give him the benefit of the doubt on call it should go both ways. Bird does the same thing and every time im hearing the whistle being blown for a foul.

I think you're sensationalizing the truth. Almost every center does it. They don't call a foul every time on anyone.

I've other centers do it and they usually don't have their arms extended out like he does. If you have your hands straight up its nothing I can say. But you know what its ok its something we just goin have to play though.
