Honestly breh I'm just a natural early riser. The latest I've ever slept in my life was noon, and that was after I went to bed at 4:00am. I don't consume any caffeine so no afternoon crash and my body can naturally come down at night. A lot of people can't do it, but once you get in the habit it's easy. The biggest thing is not hitting the snooze button and just getting out of bed. The mid morning, early afternoon energy boost is GOAT and the gyms are usually empty, so that's a plus. Go for it breh and see how you like it.
I saw a clip once that said it’s bad to try to sleep a few more minutes after waking up.

Something along the lines of sleep cycles being around 90 mins. So like if you wake up at 6 and try to sleep until 6:30, you’re either gonna be super tired because you wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle. Or you’re likely to stay asleep for another hour or 2.

Not sure if that’s true

some weeks i’m getting like 7-8 a night during the week…

other weeks i’m getting 4-6…

7-8 is ideal, but hard to do consistently.

and for most of my 20s i’d say i was getting 4-5, maybe even less. can’t live like that anymore.

I agree with that actually. If I wake up and go back to sleep and actually sleep...I'm out for another 2-3 hours. If I sleep another half hour or so, I wake up groggy. Ironically enough those short afternoon "disco naps" hit different. The energy level returns after a 45-1hr long nap is ridiculous.

I go into the office twice a week. Those days I try to get in bed around 10:30 and I wake up around 6:30.

When I work from home I try to get to sleep around 11:00 and wake up around 7:30.

I'm consistent about my sleep. I don't mess around with it. I'm trying to get at least 7 hrs.

I belive sleep is part of the reason why I'm still slim fit and not washed at 35
