There is 0 doubt or questions about his game/talent,if you watched any of these games you see the boy score that ball like he a 10 year NBA vet.

It's just the other shyt thats no longer adding up.

It's a pattern,check his minutes,when he gotta play against a top team or top prospect he either doesn't dress or plays under 25 minutes,all the weaker teams or teams with no real prospects he plays 25+ minutes! May be a game or two off but check his game logs,he ducking competition or something? His camp need to get it together. I think the Hamstring thing was a legit thing to an extent but it's gone on far too long,something else going on.

Legit question: is Darryn Peterson pulling himself warly mainly when he has good shooting numbers?

It seems like games he’s shooting poorly in he plays more minutes, maybe to try and boost his FG% until it gets to a point he can get to a better percentage or cuts losses and shuts it down.

Games it seems like he gets to a great start he pulls himself out early.

Part of me thinks he’s trying to pad his numbers.

The guy’s main thing is scoring, so if he’s really a 6’4 microwave scorer rather than a full-on carry or someone who can be a heliocentric player, then that’s going to affect his draft image.

Honestly, even without the drama I get the sense he’s a dime-a-dozen microwave scorer.

At best, it's a Kyrie situation where he was hurt all the time but the talent was too obvious.

But if you're load managing in college where it's less than half of the games during an NBA season, where he's sitting out parts of games where they'd conceivably need him, his priorities aren't aligned with the rest of the team.

I get the fear of injury (we just saw JT Toppin's college career end on a torn ACL) but then don't play. Jalen Johnson quit on his team and while his draft stock took a hit, now he's the main man on the Hawks. If this is on his dad, then Darryn needs to realize he ain't Kawhi and his dad ain't Uncle Dennis. Lonzo and LaVar (really LaVar) pulled this shyt, and it ended up bad for both of them. If he's healthy, shut everything else out and play.

Thing is, Kyrie would've played if he could that year...DP just checking himself out of games b/c he doesn't feel up to it
