Been shytting on lexus in every thread that comes up, damn near tradition now.

I'm not trying to drop that kind of money down. I haven't driven in 8 years, having had my license suspended. Only now, I'm going to be needing something for transporting stuff I sell, so I'm looking for something nice and reasonably priced. Said I wouldn't take more than 10k out the bank for a car, it'd have to be a nice whip with less than 100k miles, and it must be bought outright. I've heard bad things about BMWs and Benzes, Acura lost its way from the 90s, Infinitis are ugly, and so on. Lexus seems to be the highest rated luxury car when it comes to bang for buck.

So, my car search has put aside any thought of wasting money on a BMW or Benz and narrowed down to a choice between two different Lexus models. The Lexus GS350 and the Lexus ES350. I have a few options before, all of them year 2009. The GS350s I'm leaning towards have ~90K miles, no accidents, 1-3 owners, and are going for a price in the ballpark of 9Gs. The ES350s are similar - no accidents, 3 or less owners, selling for 9-10 and having ~90k mileage. The GS350 looks slick and just oozes swag, with the bubble in the back and low profile front. But while I initially thought the ES350 was boring, I'm beginning to appreciate its lowkey sophistication. It almost reminds of the early 90 Acura Legends. I just don't like that it's FWD. I really would rather have an AWD car, especially living in a region where 5 months of the year is usually met with light to heavy snowfall. What do yall think I should do?

And that’s where it ends. That’s the only difference. The interior. And this is coming from a lifetime Lexus lover. I’m just a realist too. Get a 2019!Camry and soup it up and call it a day. Lexus accomplished :manny:

But Toyota engineering is ranked higher than just about every other company out there, in terms of automobiles. That's the reason Lexus' vehicles are so coveted, even more than other more prestigious brands. Pairing that engineering with the immaculate interiors that its vehicles are known for, Lexus seems to have earned its following, wouldn't you say?

At that price range you might as well buy a low mileage altima, if looking for "swag" you are going to need to raise your price range significantly. But if you are looking for a car that oozes swag from the perspective of a teenage girl then either Lexus makes sense.
