The fact that you can't comprehend why a state needs to have defined lines between the state coffers and what the leader earns is enough to tell me that it is a lost cause trying to debate with you breh. You need to understand how a state is meant to function, transparency in governance, checks and balances and the separation of powers before you are able to argue what is a good leader or not. How can you argue any regions politics when your information is lacking on the basics of different models of governance? I provide you with examples and you constantly misconstrue the point I am trying to drive home, it's like I have to spell out each example and why it is an example of a "failure".

the arab spring was a mission to bring down arab countries that hate israel. when these countries are destroyed and have internal conflict, the more israel can breathe. israel can deal with small time rebels vs big govts like iran/syria. but syria already has internal conflict and have to focus on that instead of israel.
