Is the elephant the mini boss you fight in that circle that keeps freezing you over and over even when you avoid its charge attacks?

I killed the elephant with little issue because I used the shield/spear combo.

But even so, a lot of these enemies can only really be killed with that specific set up. Not saying it's impossible to do it without it but it's 100x easier which is itself an issue with the DLC.

But that cocksucker needs to be tuned. He does disgusting damage, has crazy hit boxes (the horse kick covers 180 degrees behind him), and has a huge HP pool.

Finally got him after like 6 attempts and turned the console off.

Yeah, I love difficult games, Souls is my fav genre but this shyt is just annoying and not fun. Don't make the base game three times easier and then just expect us to slog through this. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, but I might wait for a balance patch.

They're good developers but their QA testers are pro gamers Ain't no god damn way they collected regular gamers and had them play this shyt and thought it was fine. The only other excuse is they want to artificially make it longer through difficulty on some NES Ninja Turtles shyt.

I am level 280 and pretty much everything is killing me in 1-2 hits.

It's so out of tune with the base game they're going to patch it soon.
