It happens all the time where families fukk up in not paying property taxes over a certain number of years and it ends being taken from them and sold to someone else on the cheap.

Here in Mississippi it’s 3 years.
Going through it with family in Mississippi right now. But that's cuz he refuse to pay and my mom don't wanna lose the land:francis:

Some states don’t have sales tax or have low sales tax. Some don’t have income tax and the states that do that make up for it via higher property taxes

And those are the choices of said states.... Doesn't apply to the overwhelming states that do, nor does it address that property taxes play a role in racial oppression, by design....

you have a ideological problem with paying property tax but own 4 properties.

You kind of slow, so I get it..... I pay property taxes because it's a requirement to maintain a semblance of ownership, not because I like it..... Motherfukkas do plenty of shyt they don't like, but need to for their best interest.... Hopefully you're still under the age of 21 sounding like this......

Boosie might not think he has to pay property taxes, but the government doesn't think that. If he's not paying, let him keep not paying and watch his property get snatched up real quick.

It ain’t hard to pull up property taxes for his estate. It looks like it’s about 8-9k. Keep in mind if he’s not paying a mortgage, it’s way easier to put money aside in escrow or savings. My biggest monthly expense by far is mortgage.

The lack of basic financial literary amongst most people is shocking :gucci:

In what world is owning a property (with just taxes to pay for) a bad thing? I mean worst case scenario, he sells the property for, say, $10 million (all profit) then buys a $1 million (cash) home and still has $9 million to take care of the taxes for the rest of his life.

But there's really dudes who think you're better off being a couple missed rental payments away from the street.

I'll never advocate for renting if you can afford to buy unless
1) You already own other places as investment properties
2) You've relocated somewhere and only plan to stay there temporarily.

yup, but still paying like $850 a month alone in taxes, which is a touch pill to swallow no matter how much u got since you're not receiving anything tangible for that money.

The good news is that's probably on the lower side of what he spends month to month. His monthly payments on his chains are probably more than that.

It's really never just black and white when it comes to finances man. :mjcry:

For some ppl they’d rather have their capital in the stock market and other investments than in property. There’s plenty of high net worth individuals that don’t “own” their home outright.

I inherited 26 acres in MS. My dad owned a bunch of land there. The cool thing about property taxes down there is that you’re exempt once you get 65.
