I personally don't have him over most of these guys but honestly, you can make a legit case he's above them as an all-time greater rapper. Not more skillful necessarily (though he is in some cases) but he had a better career then all of them, and arguably released quality material for a longer period of time while maintaining not only relevance but influence at the highest level.

I can agree the quality of his catalogue on its own would not be top 10. But the volume and dominance, with no bad projects during a 6 year blitzkrieg on rap is unheard of. I have him between 15-20 even though there are about 30-40 rappers I would rather listen to.


Somebody please list the material from '04-'10. Again, bar for bar he isn't top 25-30 but he gets a bump for the complete dominance. Rap has never, including turn or the millennium Jay and Em, seen dominance like that run he had.
