Real talk there's a lot of young talent that's not connected to the vets at all but still making music that sounds more like the old school mobb shyt than Hyphy ever did despite the modern ATL/Chicago influence
Lowkey I feel like there was a backlash to HBK (and party music period) being the only Bay Area representation on the radio for the last 5 years, Mozzy blowing up because of what his content is put the battery back in this mob shyt
What's missing at this point though is the underground scene. Nothing's taken off in the last 10 years that's approaching the level of following that Zion I had let alone Hiero. There's a few that came close (namely Main Attrakionz) but the majority struggle to find an audience.
