I use skin lightners/chemical peels to lighten my skin all over. Do i feel any type of way about it? Nope to me its like getting a chemical peel or a beauty enhancement. I've lightened quite a bit. Went from Gabriel Union to Sanaa Lathan and working my way up to Rihanna. My mom has noticed and ask what did i do to my skin, i tell her lies. She doesn't need to know. I really don't want anyone to know that i'm lightening my skin but my secret is hard to hide cause its so freakin visible. What really has shocked me is black people really do have a complex about skin color or at least the blacks i've encountered. I've had at least 30 to 40 random black men & women tell me how beautiful my skin color is ((( its literally a red,caramel golden hue))) i felt ashamed & flattered all at the same time. Society has put this negative vibe about dark skin in my mind and i cant shake it. Lightening my skin has brought out my features and makes me look more exotic. I don't think i'll ever be done with lightening my skin and i'll probably become obsessed with another "beauty enhancement"
