It's really hilarious when people go by this myth that once "Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492" or even the beginning of the slave trade in 1619 is when so called White domination began

- The Kingdom of Nri (1043-1911)

- The Oyo Empire (1400-1895)

- Benin Empire (1440-1897)

- The Mossi Kingdom (1020 - 1896)

- Sultanate of Hobyo (1880s–1920s)

And many more

- Kaabu Empire (1537–1867)
- Bonoman (11th Century–19th Century)
- Ashanti Empire (1701–1894)
- Kong Empire (1710–1898)
- Bamana Empire (1712–1896)
- Sokoto Caliphate (1804–1903)
- Wassoulou Empire (1878–1898)
- The Kongo Kingdom (1400–1888)
- Lunda Empire (1660–1887)
- The Sennar Sultanate (1502–1821)

African empires - Wikipedia

White domination began in the late 1800s, specifically around 1870 with the Berlin conference that started African Imperialism. I keep saying learning history can be a great tool . That's why I always make a face when people keep bringing up Black Wall street Tulsa Oklahoma as the only solo shining light :wtf:, when there was Empires in Africa still operating just 5-10 years before. These CACs would have you believe Black people had no influence on a Global scale, when CACs were the least respected up until the 1800s. White domination has been present since 1870, ain't even 200 years and they still can't keep their Empire together!!! :mjlol:

There is no cure only a vaccine. I cant imagine how rudimentary the treatment was at the time tho:damn:

Oh I didn't know that!

They took quinine extracted from the bark of a certain tree in South America, and put it in tonic water. Then somebody had the idea to mix tonic water with alcohol and that's when it really took off. Cacs love drinking, especially in colonial times they would drink several bottles of whiskey and gin per month. Mix that with tonic water and you have a pretty good supply of the vaccine coming through. Probably consumed 20 litres of water containing quinine assuming they had 5 litres of alcohol in the same time

Africans had contact and relationships with Europeans for centuries and were never colonised. The game changer was the technological breakthroughs of the Industrial Revolution. Cacs came through with the Maxim Gun like :shaq:. Before that Africans weren't worried about them. Even after this difference Africans weren't really worried and underestimated them.

This is a map of Africa in 1880. By as late as 1880, about as much as 80% of the continent of Africa was being ruled by her own kings, queens, clan and lineage heads, in empires, kingdoms, communities and polities of various sizes and shapes.

Secondly, the African leaders were not aware of the fact that the guns that they had used hitherto and stockpiled, the muzzle-loading muskets were totally outmoded and no match for the new breech-loading rifles used by the Europeans, which had about ten times the rate of fire at six times the charge, and the new ultra-rapid- fire Maxims. The English poet Hilaire Belloc summed up the situation aptly:

Whatever happens we have got
The maxim-gun and they have not9

It is here that African rulers miscalculated, in many cases with tragic con- sequences.

Oyo was under British subjugation before 1895, hell most of these empires were in their final years. And I hate to be saying this, but the european empires were in fact more powerful than the various African kingdoms, they just couldn't conquer them (shoutout to Ethiopia for keeping that record running)

Which is why they empires ended, because they were in their final years :leostare::mjlol:

they actually have a cure for it now, by genetically engineering the mosquito to be sterile and significantly reduce their population. Theyre trying to confirm whether wiping out a species is ethical or not.
