I remember my boy talking about how wack he DJed a party for CIAA. Too much “wheat Tim” music that didn’t allow for the women to dance. Probably the best DJ I’ve heard him and others say is DJ Jazzy Jeff. Dude understands region differences and energy.

Seen Jeff live a couple of times, he did MSU's homecoming one year too and I was there for that, Def the real deal.

Yeesh. That's where I'm at, if you do not know how to switch it up, then you shouldn't be in this whole big headed lane. Listen to The Get Back and Chitin Circuit 1.5, the shyt is like night and day compared to the tracks that were under 9th umbrella.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good boom bap. Hell, 9th and em influenced me easily for my musical passion, but I just don't get this lovefest over a dude that makes the most basic beats on FL Studios, still uses the same bounce and bap movements, and can't get out of an era that Madlib, Just, and countless other producers left.

I'm just saying. I wouldn't be surprised if 9th ended up becoming the next Pete Rock. Meaning a hating ass weirdo that's stuck in his underground bunk surrounded by warped old ass recrods and more greys than a elder koala.
