i grew up and paid attention to my pops/uncles/older cuzins and they always had nice shyt but they always always always reminded me as well as my younger couzins

I think mostly it comes with age. When we're young it's natural to want to impress others because you're wanting to find that woman or whatever it may be.

But when you get older and settle down, you notice aint none of that shyt going to make your life better. You notice a $500 pair of sunglasses is the same as a $15 pair of sunglasses.

A car is to get to work.

I literally don't even buy clothes at this point, that's my girls thing. She knows what I like and every now and then she`ll get me a new shirt (b-day, holiday, etc) or some new jeans.

for me it's not really about impressing others, i just really like nice things. i enjoy going, doing, buying, eating, drinking etc. i just enjoy being a consumer . but at the end of the day that's a selfish consumption thing for me and if anything age has taught me to put others (my wife and kid(s)) ahead of myself. my dad was always great at this and now that he's getting older and i've seen how much it has helped him pass down i am learning to appreciate the process a whole lot more than i ever did when i was younger.

I learned to live beneath my means by traveling, before I did that I had a car that was ridiculously expensive, and a lot of shyt that didn't really add to my life. The only thing I will spend money on today are electronics.

I don't know if anybody mentioned this but imo living beneath your means is when you can comfortably cop a bentley (other big time material items) and you cop a used maxima (or equivalent material item) type flow. I don't really think of living beneath your means being when dudes don't really have the money to spend anyway and their just not buying the luxuries they would if they had it. I guess it could be considered doing so I just don't look at it like that. I don't many people like that that have big money and are living beneath their means. Those types are usually spending their money except for one of my dads friends that mofo is just cheap though. I know alot of 9 to 5 types that don't buy luxury stuff and think just off that they are living beneath their means though.

I can say I'm living below my means because, while I can afford shyt like cable, I choose not to pay for it because I'm content with using alternate ways of viewing my content.

You're speaking on the same thing but from more of a wealthy person's perspective. You can live below your means regardless of your tax bracket.

i'm not trying to roast you or make this thread about you...its all love. But is that the way to live breh? Are you that bad looking or deformed?

I feel like every person has the juice to bag women to an extent. Don;t wanna sound like a broken record but its true. In high school I was a nerd...one of the kind that was cool with everybody but still was a nerd. Didn't go out to parties, skipped prom cause it wasnt my thing, didnt fukk bytches, didnt chill after school or nothing. Im attractive but growing up people always made fun of me. I've been called "Blackie" because my skin is apparently really dark , my deep voice has been made fun of harshly, I used to be quite skinny (skinny now again cause the winter ruined my gym flow) and whenever I got bad grades I would tear up because my parents scared me. Girls would say hi to me, and I'd say just say, "hi" because I was very introverted and had nothing else to say.

Fast forward years later and i still dont go out much, i'm happy i didnt go to prom, have fukked a few bytches , my deep voice makes these ladies go and I can bag girls for the most part when i want...I'm very selective. Them same nikkas (some who are my friends) that threw rocks at me aint shyt in comparison. What i'm trying to say is even if you dont find yourself physical or personality attractive ...somebody does. Let the coli help you man, its time to channel your inner playa.

I genuinely look at women as objects, don't respect them, and harbor a lot of hate for them. I'm not in it for love or a relationship. fukking bytches from Backpage is as convenient and blase as ordering a pizza and I like it that way.

Men have to change their entire lifestyle when they start chasing women the conventional way. I'm not willing to devote such a large portion of my day to the pursuit of women.

I think living within your means gives you a solid foundation and the ability to determine a want vs a need. Once you get that downn you can begin to explore all the ideas you want. If you can't control a small amount of money, you're probably going to fukk up a large amount.

I don't personally save sh1t but my 401k is on swole. I honestly don't see the point in saving and I know there is a point but I just don't give no fukks bout that sh1t. My credit is really good and I basically have no debt though so that is one responsible thing I'm good at.

theres a lotta truth to this. obv a lotta ppl have families and shyt, where u wana leave behind as much as you can. but in a perfect world youd retire as early as you could and die with 0 dollars
