This 100%. They played right into the rhetoric that it was all these dirty minorities taking things away from them. So by willful ignorance, they went and voted against their own interests. My ex is a piece of poor white Italian American trash. She doesn't come from shyt. In fact she is all for higher wages. Yet she and her family only for Republicans, and can't shut up about how Democrats have screwed things up.
Dunno, but Wells should have seen stronger punishment for their criminality.
It has to be incredibly common, the cost of living, the actual wages, and even reasonable luxuries can become a trap if one small blip happens.
I know its not enough to insulate me, but I have an emergency fund just for this.
