Had the soundtrack, dubbed Blockbuster rental VHS tape in 1999, loved this movie. When Jermaine Dupri gets a bottle broken over his head, to Jagged Ege 'Keys To The Range', or J Reid's last ride with God to 'Where Ya Heart At', my first time hearing 50 too, classic 90s hip hop movie. The pool cue scene was pretty dark as a little kid, and the first robbery attempt was grimy shooting that dude between the legs…Those two stick up kids….

I don't understand why they have that movie set in late 90s? instead of set in early 80s, should have done similar to Paid In Full?
