If you took LLs hits alone you could make a double album. Not even JZ can say that. Lil Wayne is the closest in that category but

so in other words, you never really listened to dude.
un-informed posting.
exactly. im a huge 2pac fan but i could do without 28374 documentaries & specials being aired. its only but so many times that you can tell the same story.
as far as the mainstream peak thing, it was more of a natural progression. and the '80s cats did most of the dirty work. theyre the ones that should be credited. the entire foundation was already laid down for the 2pacs & biggies. its kinda like how i can turn on the radio right now and hear a bunch of garbage southern records but it was the '90s/early '00s southern rappers that really put it down and opened up doors. yet, they get next to no credit but we're told to act as if T.I. & rick ross are groundbreaking.
well what the hell else do you want from a rapper?what else could he possibly do to meet your goat standards?

Where do u place LL in your pantheon of rappers? To me he is not top 5 and only the goat's go in top five. I still gave him legendary status.
in terms of solo artists, i have him ranked 3rd behind 2pack & rakim.
i dont see how anybody can leave him out of the top 10. he should be at least top 10 on every solo list.

post your top 10 so we can get a good laugh. or else kick rocks.
edit: are you the same ghost from sohh? the one that had the nate dogg avi. if youre the same person, then i rather you just kick rocks and not waste my time.

I actually give LL the number one spot. I was an LL hater when the argument was Run DMC vs LL. Then Run fell off. Then LL kept getting better. Then LL ran through a couple of cats in battles. I was rooting for Kool Moe D. Then Moe D got murked. By the time Bis cam along I was a fan of LL but I thought Bis was a cyborg or some shyt. Then Bis got bodied. I heard Headsprung in a club last year. I'm sayin: this nikka was in Krush Groove with the FAT BOYS and KURTIS BLOW and he got a new album coming out. Undefeated in battle vs dude who damn near invented battle rap and a decade later vs a guy who seemed to be a living computer. LL wasn't even a better rapper than Bis. He just knows art of war. If you took LLs hits alone you could make a double album. Not even JZ can say that. Lil Wayne is the closest in that category but Waynes hits ain't coming close to LLs. If you ignore all thia then ask yourself, are you actually a hip hop head? Or just a kid who likes beats sometimes?
:foh: :comeonson:LL is top 15/20 but he aint top 10.
