Naw Ra was!!
KRS didn't have them bars like Ra/Kane/Kool G or even LL and Moe Dee had until he went solo in 93.
He was more lyrical than a Chuck D or Ice T and right below LL because L would get lazy with the rhyme. But he was not seein Ra/Kane/G Rap when it came to bars.
shyt by 89 Chill Rob G and Special Ed were more lyrical. Just because KRS wasn't as lyrical as others that didn't necessarily make them better EMCEEs.
KRS was a great EMCEE in the late 80s he just wasn't as advanced lyrically as some other EMCEEs were in the late 80s.
actually silver fox technical, battle and skilled cadence were overlooked.
from,the mainstream monopoly of sugarhill.
so the idea ra was the only technical marvel of emcee'n was not true.
especially since caz and melle mel were overlooked in the segueway of old school to newschool way of thought.
yet,..now we are in an all school era. the skills of those whom were overlooked in the destruction of the oldschoolway of thought.
for the newschool way of thought..have to be resurveyed amd acknowledged.
in the old school being phased out culturally. as it eliminated the cultural connection of hiphop to the businesses of the pillars.
yet, originally caz, melle, moe dee, and fox had skilled rubrck which were ignored by newschool aficionado's.
so ra became the herald of the newschool technical prowess.
after, krs singlehanddily created the classic album rubrick of emcee'n for the newschool way of thought to follow.
also,..on the style you haven't tried yet. krs elongates the technical syllable rubrick once again. as he had done on criminal minded, and on bamn.
krs is not properly credited for either. as his draw was being attacked by non-culturally accepted media outlets. for his brash culturally driven stop the violence mantra and atttention to real education movement.
also,..krs incorporated more styles and range.
similiar to the best of all the rappers from the true pan of the culture in the bx.
while ra only mastered his technical skillbase, of queens.
while also,..not spearheading any actual cultural movement to aid the actual culture past emcee'n.
evident by having to wait to ghetto.
to get a fully focused rakim record made purposefully as a gateesy submission, content wise.
which was years after stop the violence, and the original blueprint.
whereas krs elongated his more street content based draw to include educating, through more versatile focused content.
also,..how dare you mention chill rob g,..the hiphouse rakim biter.
like nikka get serious,...i already told you to get a newhandle. after even mentioning chill rob,...you need a new username.
also,..special ed did not have a different ranges of styles or vocal tonality and convincability that krs had.
plus he never sustained his skillbase by actual technical application.
illustrated by when, he later cameback,..whereas krs at the same time made a selftitled classic, named krs one.
kill that bullshyt and get a new handle....
no facts culturally or skillwise in history, support what you talking about....
