My favorite Banks release is still V5 after all these years, but I already like this COTI2 album better than some of his previous ones. I definitely still want him to link up with more livelier producers, which includes Harry Fraud as well. I need a rest from Cartune and especially Jerm and Doe Pesci lmao
The interesting thing to me is Banks does what I wish so many more artists would do, which is link with like 3 or 4 producers and have them handle the bulk of their catalogue, for multiple consecutive releases. It's a great idea, and it's becoming more fashionable now. And he's been doing it for a long time, before it was cool. This grew on me a lot to the point I prefer it over the first one now, but those first few weak tracks are a poor way to start of the album of, it gets better as it goes on tho
As others have said tho he really needs to expand a little bit on production, if you listen to both of these albums back to back there is a lot of very Repetitive sounding production
So far I got it like
100% pure piff:
Socialize
Impact
Don’t Switch Up
Living Proof
No Reward
Fell in Love
On my way
Menace
Dope but sometimes skippable:
Murda Won
Dead Roses
Traffic
Value of a Check
Not for me:
Power Steering
Dead Roses is my favorite track off here and I’m glad he made a video for that. It’s such a real song. Power Steering is nice too and it’s one of the few tracks that strays from the central sound on here. You wild powering steering, dead roses and value of a check go hard as fukk.

All three have beats I don’t fukk with that much. Dead Roses is insane lyrically but that kind of content deserves a way better beat imo. Those tracks are still cool though, just not my favorites like the other ones I listed. You wild powering steering, dead roses and value of a check go hard as fukk.
I wonder if they ever hit up Dizzy Lizzards near hofstra universityIt’s his house, that coolinguy is a troll and hater
Yayo and Banks lived in Long Island for the last 10-18 years
