well they are
from 1997 until about 2002 ish.
comparing ross to dmx is laughable
just like havin lloyd banks in the same sentence as biggie is laughable

it doesn't mean lloyd banks and rick ross are wack, it just means there different levels and categories when it comes to music
You can think Xs music, you can think his flow is better, you can think delivery is better but in terms of vocabulary and bars giving you the :scust: face , I find Ross better

If we are talking pure lyricism Banks >>>>>X

Record sales wise Banks came in the game as being bigger than X was from the jump. Even when the unit took a big ass hit at the height of the G unot campaign Banks was outselling X.

In terms of the mixtape scene Banks been a monster and X is a non factor. X is a former rapper he used to do movies who is more known for his stupid weird antics than anything.

I don't even wanna hear shyt about song writing when Banks gave 50 the hook for his biggest single ever.

Banks also has a better work ethic and a greater growth than X. X to me is some kind of nostalgia act in the Ludacris category.

A large portion of Banks' career took place in an era where records didn't sell as much.

Banks also took off quicker and at a younger age than X. X was literally around the entire 90s and didn't blow up until after Pac and Big were gone
