Evolution isn't always forward moving, Banks is a testament to that. Some people think he's advanced since 02-06 lyrically but to me he went a different direction, not forward or backward, just somewhere different. He's like 99% only focused on multis, to the point where the actual things he's saying have suffered, it's hard to even understand that jibberish he be talking about because he's not even that focused on it, just the syllable patterns. Royce does what he does with the multis but is still able to be totally understandable with the bars. That's just my 2 cents on Banks as an MC,

He knows what to do though hes acting up, as a stan(rational i just fukk w his music heavy) i barely bumped any of the At Your Request series although he was ripping shyt, it just didnt do it for me, it wasnt even fukking with the first 90s freestyle series.I feel this is in response to his light warm reception to his freestyle series, bars don't matter to this generation as much as mumbling nonsense over a hot beat. Nikka out here crafting heat and putting it out and its crickets while nikka's putting out microwaved bullshyt and being applauded for it
