we really are entering territory where you can't really say shyt about anyone anymore without it leading to accusations that you're contributing negatively to someone's mental health. won't be able to critique anyone soon

to be fair I'm saying that with no knowledge of how deep budden went with his comments etc. but still, my point remains

It’s been that way for years, you can’t even call people “fakkit” or any other term that seems abusive anymore or they’re think you’re homophobic or they may think you wanna kill gays or some shyt.

"Logic, you are the worst rapper ever, you are terrible man" Budden

You can be a critic of someone's music publicly, there's nothing wrong with that...but when u say someone is the worst ever and you're spending 10 minutes giggling and clowning them on some cheap humor shyt just for content purposes, you're just a hating ass mean-spirited person. No matter how hard you or your fans try to clean it up, you said what u said, u can't control how someone reacts to the harsh shyt u say about them...could be a punch in the eye...could be someone wanting to retire because you crushed their confidence. Either way, stand on it, ride that gimmick til the wheels fall off

This dude should have never been an artist.. not just music but art in general, the whole point is the anxiety of putting your thought/heart into your work, and leaving yourself bare to let others judge it... what good is praise if there isn’t risk of dismissal.. all I heard joe say is he’s a terrible rapper, I’ve never heard anything attacking logic personally... he should know by now, some people won’t like your work, get over it... group joe in with “the haters” that shun you, whatever mental gymnastics artist do, do... I’m sorry but he’s just a flat out p*ssy in every way, and dude is over 30

to be fair...its the same story when a tough guy says "keep the same energy when you see me"...
...most of that is just hurt feelings.

Logic gets sad...tough guys (like Meek) get sad and pretend to want to get violent (some actually do).

Fragile people everywhere.

This only makes Buddens feel better, he went from nobody giving a fukk to making people depressed by giving his opinion, often hating for dramatic effect too.

Rappers used to love hate, there’s a whole category of rappers who rap exclusively for their haters :mjlol:

But I get it, if it’s not your personality to straight dump back, and you’re on some hippy shyt like “can’t we all just get along”, then I hear him. But we are just not used to such rappers, when Star was talking about Aaliyah, Jay was rapping death threats on rip songs
