I’d say if this was just Joe I’d tell Logic to man the fukk up, but I’m pretty sure all of his critics tell him the same shyt, I can see that leaving a mark mentally over the years

Full disclosure: I don’t listen to either one’s music like that.
But I think Joe is one of the stones that paved the way for rappers like Logic in this era
by talking about his feelings the way he did. It’s just that Logic is from a different time.

Before Joe’s era, you might feel a way, but fucc how you feel...you bury it and go on.
...then you got rappers like 2Pac and Scarface.

In Joe’s era (which I will say is my era), you might feel a way...and you admit you feel a way,
and you might not bury it. ...then you got Kanye, Joe, Cudi, etc.

Then you get this era, where most of what you get is how you feel. Logic is a result of that.
I’m not gonna say that’s bad, but this is just what it looks like to me.

No matter how hard you or your fans try to clean it up, you said what u said, u can't control how someone reacts to the harsh shyt u say about them...could be a punch in the eye...could be someone wanting to retire because you crushed their confidence.
