1.) There was no WorldWideWeb back then. It was a closed internet only available to limited amounts of people.No, but if you you can spend a lot of time discussing sports on a message board to the point that we do here, making up aliases, weird inside jokes, etc. I would qualify that as nerd status.

Well the most gangsta hoods I been in usually have nikkaz with Aliases, they make weird inside jokes, and they discuss sports. That's HOOD status bruh. Now some HOODS talking on the internet

The all-around Jordan love didn't start until he started smacking everyone. He was called a ballhog, and a clone of Doc...not as good as Doc, as well. He got over the hump with Bad Boys, then beat Magic. Everyone said "OK". Then with beating Clyde, people was like alright, but when he beat Chuck for that 3rd one, I think that's when all of his doubters gave up.. Even in the Hoop Dreams doc, they were talking about MJ might go 15-30.

I remember coming up in the early and mid 90s, my pops HATED Jordan. Part of the reason I didn’t like him either.
My dad hates Bron now. He know not to say anything too crazy bout LeGOAT in my presence tho
