He got over the hump with Bad Boys, then beat Magic. Everyone said "OK". Then with beating Clyde, people was like alright, but when he beat Chuck for that 3rd one, I think that's when all of his doubters gave up.. Even in the Hoop Dreams doc, they were talking about MJ might go 15-30.

I know I joined SOHH in '97-'98, and was on hip-hop boards since '94 ish.

I remember coming up in the early and mid 90s, my pops HATED Jordan. Part of the reason I didn’t like him either.
