Never been to London but Los Angeles greater than New York...

New York is dope, on aggregate it deserves its reputation but it is slightly overrated. It's age and historical heft gives it the one up on LA---->LA had 100,000 people in 1900. Just think about that for a second. That was only 122 years ago...

In less than a century Los Angeles caught up to NY in nearly anything, and I've been on this for years, anything you can do in NY that matters, you can do in Los Angeles...

So I'm not sure how London compares but NY is overinflated online stateside, and it doesn't have to be. But when you meet folk who've been to both, the typical reaction is right down the middle 50/50, but when you're online you get way more NY riders in part because many people haven't experienced both...
Yeah you gotta experience both. London seems even more diverse than NYC and everyone lives and works together. I’ve never seen that…usa you always got a blk neighborhood here or a Mexican neighborhood over there…etc…. It was my first time seeing a place so integrated… I been out here in Europe for about 8 weeks now.

You relocated there permanently or you working or visiting?

It's hard to find hyper integration here, it doesn't really exist. Even in highly diverse places like Cali (where I'm from) and NY, it's fleeting---->these places are DIVERSE but SEGREGATED into their own in most areas. I'd love to see what London looks like...

I used to think NY was nice until i saw dashcam videos driving around neighbourhood's and maaan that place is horrid. Out here looking like Sunderland :hhh:them skyscrapers are its saving grace

London is much more developed/integrated, cleaner & fashion is a tier higher. But NYC is more lively & fun.

I think Paris is more similar to NYC. Both have a certain district/area that’s extraordinary & GOAT tier but once you leave the area & venture into the city proper into segregated areas with minorities - poverty is very prevalent/pronounced.

It all depends on what you like.

I really liked NYC when I visited, I came before the pandemic. To this day, I believe I contracted Covid out there lol I came back and was SO sick.

The underground is severely outdated in NYC, whereas in London they just opened a new line, the stations are super clean.

I went to MSG to watch the Knicks and it was like a party vibe, plenty of gal, good vibes. There is no way on earth I’m going to Selhurst Park and gonna see a plethora of winners LOL. Maybe it’s cos it’s indoors?

My Brooklyn guys - I did brunch at a place called Woodland. Found out it got shut down due to the violence etc etc. Was it that bad? I had fun man - The women I met out there still randomly check in on me

You ever notice that rarely if ever anyone makes a nyc is better than this city thread, and you know why? When you're on top you don't have to worry about those who are beneath you.

The king never worries about the peasants...its always the other way around :troll:

No diss to London, im just talking about NYC specifically
