@lotteryplaya is there a legal basis to win his case. even if his son brought the scratcher why does it matter it was still a winning ticket and he has ownership (the father) of it, it's not like a casino where kids can't claim the prize if they win a scratchoff is supposed to be whoever has it and signed it wins.:jbhmm:

A good lawyer would eat this shyt up by saying if the age requirement was that serious to the point it could disqualify you from winning then proof of age should be required at purchase but yet it's not.
It is a requirement in most places that you be it age as it is gambling. You wouldn't win that argument in court.

In Mass lotto retailers require you to show proof of age to purchase lottery. I bet it's because of cases like this. I'm sure the store is going to be on the hook for the payout now.
